Hi,

I came across a reference to Moolooloo again in something I am reading at the moment and a lot of memories came flooding back!

Moolooloo was where I learned to ride as a boy with Will Ferguson whom I used to visit when I came to stay from Leigh Creek in the 60's and before I went down to boarding school in Adelaide.

Any ideas where Will might be? Would absolutely love to catch up after all these years.

Thanks,
Craig Taylor

Hi Liz,
It is wonderful to hear from you, thankyou! I have passed your comments onto Lesley (who compiled the History). The photos of the donkey teams are great, it will be nice for your Uncle to see them!
Cheers,
Lisa & Keith

Hi,
I am trying to track my family history because my Mother's family's were related to Dudley. My Mother, Elva lived in Copley with her siblings and parents. Her Father was Walter Edward Slade and her Mother was Nelley Lewisia Slade. Brothers were Norman, Ross and Ray who is the only one living now. Mum's sisters were Meg, Hazel and Dorothy or "Dot". My Grandfather, Walter was born in Farina. He worked on the railroads in the Flinders. Walter's parents came out on the ship Eliza in 1856 and I am guessing they went to the Flinders to live. I am living in Sydney now but only moved from Adelaide a couple of years ago and will return there to live next year. My Mother always spoke about Dudley and the Flinders Ranges, which always remains close in my heart as we camped there with out children when they were young.
It is great to have a connection with family and to see photos of the donkey teams, my Mother would talk about.
I will pass the photos on to my Uncle Ray who will remember your family and maybe we can piece our family history together.
Kind regards.
