Off the beaten track

We were lucky enough today to catch the National Motor Museum touring exhibitionOff the beaten track, a journey across the nation” at Parachilna. They are celebrating the journey of two men, Harry Dutton and Murray Aunger, who 100 years ago set off from Adelaide on their way to Darwin in a 25 hp Talbot! The exhibition (with Talbot in tow as seen in picture) is stopping at many destinations along the original route. Tomorrow they will be in Leigh Creek. So if you are around it is definitely worth calling in to have a look at a very interesting snippet of our national motoring history.
