My favourite place in orroroo is the main street… in particular the tree that i used to stick my gum on when i was a kid… there was about 70 the last time i saw it!! I also liked the walk from the duckpond to the reservoir, there’s a seat there where i carved my initials!!

My favourite place in Orroroo is the swimming pool near the duckpond because it provides the one source of relief when you live in a house with no air conditioning. Maggie’s is a close second with some of the biggest & yummiest icecreams I’ve ever had!!

Maggies Rendezvous and Nuccaleena Cottage are hard to split but I guess I will choose Maggies because I go there more often! Both places are so special in the way they have of making you feel comfortable and at home while also being tranquil and indulgant. After our recent experiences in these places we knew that Orroroo was the town to make our home and quickly made the move from Adelaide, we have not looked back since. Thank you for welcoming us.
