This is the kids all time favourite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of SR Flour
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp of Cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 2 Tbsp of Butter
  • 1/2 a cup of Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 a tsp of Vanilla extract

Method:

Heat oven to 180 degrees C. Put flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, egg, melted butter and milk in a medium sized bowl and beat with wooden spoon (or i find a whisk is ex) until the mixture is smooth (around a minute). Add vanilla, mix in well. Place mixture into a greased oven proof dish. Make a mixture of an extra 3/4 cup of sugar and 1& 1/2 Tbsp of cocoa. Sprinkle over your mixture in dish evenly. Pour 1 & 3/4 of a cup of boiling water onto the sugar and cocoa mixture (it helps to pour water over a spoon onto the dish to even the water out over the pudding). Bake in oven for 40 minutes.

Serve with cream and ice cream!!! ;)
