Orroroo Playground, Flinders Ranges

Have a look at this fantastic Playground, a fabulous community project involving the Council and local sporting groups. It is situated at the Town Oval on the Eastern side of town.  It has been relocated and revamped over the past few months and is now an excellent spot to take the kids.

Check out this bouncy tractor…the kids adore it!

The redevelopment is not finished yet as I believe a fence and shade sails are yet to come.  There is also going to be a section for the older kids including a dirt bike track and flying fox which is to be completed in the near future.

Orroroo hosted a Northern Areas Football Final on the weekend (with a crowd of over 2000 people) and this new playground was a huge hit with parents and children alike!!!

The playground is a quick drive, easy bike ride or 15 minute walk from Nuccaleena Cottage. If you’re traveling and looking for somewhere to let the kids have a run and burn off some energy, then this is the ideal spot!
