Orroroo has been a wonderful base to explore the Flinders. We arrived after sunset Friday night, the house here is so welcoming, but we didn't realise it's impressive position until Saturday morning. Saturday morning we set off, very late, to Magnetic Hill, great fun. Then we walked along creek walk to aboriginal carvings, tank lookout etc. - very interesting. Sunday we drove to Wilpena Pound, we saw 6 kangaroos, 2 emus, (becareful there might be snakes) & walked some beautiful tracks. We loved our stay at Nuccaleena Cottage, many thanks. After 600kms of dusty driving it was so wonderful to walk into such a comfortable welcoming place – with so many special touches (the boys loved their chocolates). We have covered 5000kms in total and it is the best nights sleep for the entire holiday so far. Thankyou!”
